CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT BROWNIEOk. Hands up who thinks brownie is the best thing ever! Yeah, me too.Brownie is awesome, simple as that. It's chocolatey, gooey, and all other kinds of 'ey' and just for the record, i think this is the best recipe in the universe, because no-one is going to blow my trumpet for me!What you need : An oven pre-heated to 160 degrees. A tray (whatever size you want, but ideallly one that the raw mix will sit about an inch and a bit deep in) lined with non-stick baking parchment. 15 oz Unsalted butter 10 oz Dark chocolate (70%) - chips 6 oz Extra bitter Cocoa powder 1 lb 8 oz caster sugar 6 oz Plain flour 1 heaped tspn Baking powder 6 Free range eggs 6 oz chopped nuts - whatever you want, but hazelnuts are best. Heat the butter until melted and starting to bubble. Take off the heat and beat in the cocoa, then sugar followed by the other ingredients in any order APART from the choco chips. As the mix is warm adding these too soon would melt them and that's bad. Just throw them in as you are pouring the mix into your tray then stick it in the oven. It will take about an hour to cook and will still be seriously gooey in the centre. You may be tempted to cook it a little longer, but don't. Just cool it, cut it and eat it.
