GINGER NUT BISCUITS

Ginger Nuts also known as Ginger snaps are excellent "dunkers" but you can also smash them up and sprinkle them on your ice-cream. My Gran even eats them with her Lancashire cheese!

Ingredients:
16 oz self-raising flour
1 ½ tsp bicarbonate of Soda
8 tsp sugar
6 tsp ground ginger
4 tsp ground cinnamon
8 oz butter – melted
12 oz Golden syrup

Method:
Place all of the ingredients into a food mixer and bring to a dough. Wrap and chill for two hours. Roll into olive sized balls, place on a baking tray then flatten slightly.
Bake at 160 °C. for 20 minutes.
