Garlic Butter

I don't need to say a lot about garlic butter. It can be used as a butter replacement in anything you would normally use butter for. Barring desserts, obviously.

Ingredients:

2 blocks of salted butter - softened
10 cloves of garlic - peeled and crushed
a handfull of chopped parsley
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon of cracked black pepper

Method:

1. Place the butter, garlic, lemon juice and pepper in a food mixer and mix until well combined.

2. Add the chopped parsley and mix until just combined otherwise your butter will be green!

This recipe will make far more butter than you actually need. Force of habit. I make loads of it at a time and freeze the excess for later use. It is a bit annoying when a recipe calls for a teaspoon of garlic butter and you don't have any already made!
