How to skin a tomatoNot a recipe as such but, believe it or not, one of the most frequently asked questions.1. Bring a large saucepan of cold water to the boil.2. Using the tip of a small sharp knife remove the bit where the tomato joined the stalk, then cut a criss cross in the opposite end. 3. Put the tomatoes in the boiling water and cook for 10 seconds only. Remove from the pan and immediately plunge them into a bowl containing ice cubes and cold water.
